History of Mekh

In the beginning of the year 178 the world of Ramuria started an age of invention and creativity. The people of the world started wondering about the machines they had heard of in distant lands and tried to create their own to help ease their hard lifestyle.
A woman named Ze Halbringer joined this rush to create in 200. The woman was from another land of advanced mechanics. She created the first working humanoid robot. Soon after she also invented a talking robot and the first thinking robot.
There were those against these new developments. They forced the creators of the new machines, or mekhs, to make laws that would prevent them from ever having a better IQ than the average human.
Ze ignored the rules, though, and created a robot smarter than she was herself. She used the robot to help her create a company that could mass produce more mekhs. The company was called Bringer.
After awhile, the general populace began to except the new mekhs. They used them in everyday situations, while the police force, or the enforcers, used them for surveillance and security.
In 209 the first cyborg, or humekh, was created by Ze. Soon after replacing lost limbs with mekh parts became regular in medical practices and the enforcers began recruiting humekhs into their forces due to the fact that they could be stronger and faster than a normal human or elf.
In the year 237 the first major accident caused by mekh failure and rebellion occurred. Millions of humans and elves were killed in a large explosion and the government became worried that more mekhs would rebel.
So far, it has not happened. But it has only been five years...
